    client care

Client care is an important aspect of undertaking counselling. Making progress, or learning to live life at a new level of personal satisfaction takes dedication and patience with one's own process. Often, we can be resistant to change. Even when our intentions are strong to change, finding and sustaining a new point of view can be onerous. Engaging in continued support is beneficial when counselling winds down, or has ended.Learn more...

Journal writing is an essential tool for making progress. We think that the thoughts in our mind own us, when really it is up to us to keep in our mind what is helpful and let go of the thoughts or feelings that hold us back. Write every day, just for 5 or 10 minutes. Ask: what is important for me to remember today? What did I learn? What did I observe? How did the world's splendor show itself to me today? How does this reflect in me today?Learn more...
